A Dad and his pups

I made my way back to Pittsford, VT this week. In the chaos of photographing 4 dogs running around outside, one of the dogs, Luther, was short changed in having his portrait taken (3 of the dogs, including Luther, were all light colored Goldens). So back I went to Vermont to give Luther his due. (This time we had him alone!). Luther is the father of 5 beautiful pups who weren't ready to come outside last time I visited. They had their first vaccinations so I was able to witness 2 of the pups first trek outside! I also was able to photograph them playing with Dad. I worked in an animal shelter for 3 years, been to numerous shelters, rescued dogs myself and I have never seen a Father interact with his pups before...it was so much fun to watch!
