I'm sitting outside in downtown Salem, MA right now. I'm here for a job tomorrow (portraits of about 15 teenagers...should be fun!) My friends aren't home from work yet (who I stay with when working in Salem) and downtown Salem is a hot zone so here I sit.
Last weekend I traveled to a family farm in Amsterdam, NY to photograph a young woman (Kayla) and her horse Jake. I ended up also photographing her brother Kevin and her with their two dog (Scruffy & Angel) too...I loved it!
Here's some of my favs:
Kevin & Scruffy
Kayla & jake
Scruffy & Angel are both rescues from Puerto Rico and were adopted from Save A Stray in Cornith:)
I'm falling behind on my blog so I'll try and catch up in the next 2 days. First off thank you for everyone who came to my opening reception on 4/6 at All The Right Angles. It was really nice to be supported by some new friends and family! THANK YOU! I didn't get a chance to take any snaps but my friend David took a few and sent them my way. So here they are:
Hey, it's me! Holding 2 yummy cupcakes that had my logo on them. Pretty cool! Made by The Bread Basket of course! That's photographer Mark Small and All the Right Angles owner, and master framer, Stephanie Arpey.
This is David's father who came all the way from Poland to see the show! He was lots of fun and I was glad to have met him. He thinks he looks like Warren, the dog in the photograph next to him.
The real stars of the evening were Ernie & Rosie, here's David's Dad again with Ernie & Rosie's Dad Kevin.
...and my hubby Chad & I with Ernie.
